The wall in your home is the most expensive empty space you own.
1819 Hong Kong — the streets you live and work on, as they were drawn.
About the map
The Hong Kong coastal defence map appended to the Jiaqing edition of the Xin'an County Gazetteer, marking Qing-era garrisons and forts around Kowloon and Hong Kong.
Where it works
- Living room — the first thing guests ask about
- Housewarming or retirement — it stays on the wall long after a bottle would be gone
- Shop or office — it tells customers you are not a chain
Choosing a size
A 2-seater sofa (about 150 cm wide) takes 60×90 cm framed HK$1,680; a 3-seater or L-shaped sofa takes 80×120 cm framed HK$3,400. Hang the centre 145–150 cm off the floor — about eye level. Measure your sofa and pick from there.
Canvas and framing
- Canvas print on solid wood frame (natural wood, black or white)
- Hand-mounted before dispatch — hang it straight out of the box
- No glass; the canvas surface can be wiped with a dry cloth
- Unframed option ships rolled, no frame included
