The 1909 map of the whole territory, printed by the British War Office: every hill, bay and village named on one sheet.
Most "old Hong Kong" souvenirs have no provenance at all, so there is nothing to say about the year when you hand one over.
This mat is printed with the 1909 map of the whole territory: published by the British War Office, base sheet settled in August 1905, updated in December 1909.
It covers Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories, with place names in romanised English, legible when zoomed in (see the detail shots). Natural rubber base, multi-spandex top, washable. The print is a restored reproduction, not the original map.
- Material: natural rubber base (non-slip), multi-spandex fabric top (smooth, washable)
- Sizes: 60 x 35 cm, 90 x 40 cm

A gift for friends who love Hong Kong, parents who remember it, relatives who have moved abroad, or children meeting the old city for the first time. Delivery to Hong Kong and overseas; allow 3 to 14 business days for us to prepare and dispatch.
Reproduction notice: This is a reproduction print of an old map, not an original antique map.
