1900 Hong Kong Remake Map Mouse Pad

In 1900 people crossed Victoria Harbour by ferry and sampan; this is the harbour they looked at every day.

A mouse pad is treated as disposable after a couple of years, and an old photograph on a desk is too busy and too small to read.

This mat carries the 1900 map of Hong Kong, and the design has real content: both sides of Victoria Harbour, the Kowloon peninsula and Hong Kong Island.

Natural rubber underneath, multi-spandex on top, so the mouse glides and the surface washes clean (see the detail shots). The print is a restored reproduction, not the original map.
