Kai Tak luggage tag, a luggage tag made to commemorate Kai Tak Airport.

The designer grew up in Kowloon City, recently saw the news about the Kai Tak construction site, and wanted to know more about the history of Kai Tak. When looking through the information, I thought Hong Kong people remembered the origin of Kai Tak Airport, so I designed the Kai Tak luggage tag.

Why is Kai Tak called Kai Tak? Because in the early 1920s: Sir Ho Kai and Mr. Au Tack (also known as Au Zemin) jointly operated "Kai Tack Land Investment Co., Ltd." (Kai Tack Land Investment Co., Ltd.), on the north shore of Kowloon Bay The land reclamation project was carried out, and it was originally planned to be developed into a garden city residential area. The "Kai Tak" company was named after Ho Kai and Au Tak, and the newly reclaimed land was named "Kai Tak Bun" after the company name. The end of Kai Tak Airport - the Rose Garden Project In 1990, the Hong Kong government launched the Hong Kong Airport Core Project, also known as the Rose Garden Project, to build a new airport at Chek Lap Kok, which is now the Hong Kong International Airport. On the evening of July 5, 1998, Hong Kong Kai Tak International Airport finally ended its 73-year historical mission.
